How is it with your soul, beloved friends?
These days feel unbearably heavy, one heartbreak after another, one act of cruelty after another. And for many of us, there is also the private weight we carry at home. We are not meant to carry these burdens alone. God has given us community, and Christ has promised to be with us always
As we grieve the tragedy at Annunciation Church and School, we gather to lament, to pray, and to hold one another in God’s grace. In this time of deep sorrow, let us turn together to the One who invites us: “Come to me, all you who are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
On Sunday at 9:00 am in the Choir Room, before worship begins, we will create a sacred space for prayer—for one another, for our children, and for the brokenness of our world. You are invited to bring your heaviest burdens and lay them at Jesus’ feet.
All are welcome. Come just as you are—bringing your grief, your questions, and your prayers. Here, God meets us with compassion, and we meet one another with love.
